“ A green lung in a densely urban area.” Sir Gerald Kaufman MP 1930 - 2017 Home

We are an allotment project for adults with learning disabilities, situated behind Debdale house. We operate between 10 am and 2 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays every week except Christmas and New Year and charge £3 per session.

With so much to do, we like to keep things simple: we work hard growing veg, doing lots of DIY jobs and you get the chance to take home some of the veg we have grown.

We promise not to work you too hard! Green Fingers is a drop in, so you can take yourself off to the canteen whenever you like for a chance to relax, chat and have a laugh with other users. You can also buy hot drinks, toast and cake from the kitchen.

If you would like to join us as a user or volunteer, pop along to one of our sessions (your first visit is free!) or call Andrew on 07984 949 121.
